Ailawishes is an R&B songwriter, author and business woman from Atlanta, Ga. She has written and co-written songs for artists such as Adina Howard, Natyla and Nekia. Ailawishes gained her songwriting credits when asked by a Columbia Records A&R to write a song for one of their artist. Since, some of her songs have been placed on the Billboard Top 100 and have gained international exposure. Ailawishes has networked with several big name artists in the industry from Kandi Burruss to Chilli from the Platinum selling group TLC. Her songs, she states, are inspired by life experiences. She writes based on past and current relationships. Writing comes easy to Ailawishes due to one of her family members being a Jazz musical genius. That’s right, the late Jazz musician Dizzy Gillespie is family to Ailawishes and the talent of the greats flows through her blood. Keep a look out for her songs and her other works. She currently has a song “Average” that has been nominated for the Indie Soul Song of the Year Award at the Indie R&B Music Awards in Atlanta.
