Exclusive! Swave Sevah on Lupe Fiasco Battling: "Lupe Can Hang" (@swavesevah @lupefiasco)

Swave Sevah sat down with VladTV Battle Rap journalist Michael Hughes prior to Summer Madness 3 and spoke on many battle-related topics.  He began by addressing the possibility of Lupe Fiasco stepping into the battle ring and participating in the events, since he has gone up against a few battle rappers on Twitter, including Daylyt.  Swave stated that he hopes to see mainstream artists participate in Summer Madness 4, and that without the help of mainstream artists, it will be hard for Smack/URL to top Summer Madness 2.

Swave also addressed Smack/URL being on BET, as well as Serius Jones and how he feels he should just commit to Battle Rap and make money off of it, rather than put up a front like he isn’t into it and then randomly decide to battle every now and then.  He also felt as though Math was going to “kill” Serius with bars at Summer Madness 3, even though the battle never got to finish.
