Jack White Makes Donation to Fund National Blues Museum's Technology Program

Jack White has contributed a six-figure donation to the National Blues Museum in St. Louis, which is scheduled to open later this year. The museum has announced that White’s money will fund the museum’s “Mix It Up” program, which is a “creative blues experience”.

“Mix It Up” will give visitors access to editing tools, which they can use to create new compositions and share them with others. The museum will feature exhibits about blues history and host educational programming.

According to a press release, they’re seeking additional funding to “enhance technology, expand exhibits, deepen the impact of community and educational programs, and create accompanying curriculum.”

White is currently touring states he’s never played before. Then, he’s taking a break.
