Kendrick Lamar Shares Video of Compton Gang Members Discussing His Reebok Sneakers

Kendrick Lamar recently unveiled his new sneaker designs for Reebok, his take on the brand’s Ventilator. The designs feature red accents on one shoe and blue accents on the other, as well as tags that read “neutral”. It’s a nod to Lamar’s push for peace between Bloods (red) and Crips (blue) in his native Los Angeles. Yesterday, to coincide with the trainers’ release in stores, Lamar shared a video of two rival Compton gang members, a Piru and a Crip, discussing the sneakers’ message of unity and peace. Watch it below.

Lamar has previously starred in three ads for Reebok.
