Schoolboy Q Discusses New Album "Oxymoron" in Live Reddit AMA (@ScHoolBoyQ)

There has been a lot of anticipation for Schoolboy Q’s new album “Oxymoron” ever since it was first announced last year. Unfortunately the album received push back after push back and no official release date had been given. Schoolboy finally gave his fans a release date in late December, saying that the album would drop February 25th. Schoolboy said, “Kendrick left me no choice but to drop a classic”, referring to Kendrick’s album “good kid, m.A.A.d city” and its impact on his own respective major label debut.

But there’s still a lot that people want to know about the album. What’s the tracklisting like? Who’s going to be on it? Who are the producers? So naturally Schoolboy Q took the Reddit to participate in an AMA (ask me anything) to give his fans some much needed answers regarding “Oxymoron.” Fans were literally able to ask the rapper anything.

During his AMA, Schoolboy was asked who he would collaborate with on a joint project. “rocky!!! me and mac wanna do a alternative album but rap keeps me tied up,” Schoolboy said.

Fans even went on to ask Schoolboy Q about his relationship with fellow Top Dawg Ent. member Jay Rock, seeing as Schoolboy is often represented as a Crip and Jay Rock a Blood. “HOOVAS AND BOUNTY HUNNAS GET ALONG plus i was already over it,” Schoolboy said.

But Schoolboy participated in the live Reddit AMA mostly to discuss and detail his new album “Oxymoron” which fans were excited to ask about. Schoolboy denied rumors of a 50 Cent collaboration on his album and said a tracklisting for Oxymoron would be revealed in a “few days.” A tour for “Oxymoron” is also set to be announced soon. “yupp dates sHould be up by end of tHa montH, but u know i like pusHing sH*t back so just wait lol,” Schoolboy said.

Following the Reddit AMA, Schoolboy Q took to his Twitter to announce something nobody was expecting. “EverytHing u Heard not on #OXYmoron,” he wrote shocking fans. That would mean the highly popular “Collard Greens” track featuring Kendrick Lamar would not make the final cut.
