Tara Reid Launches “Sharknado” Perfume

When we think of going to the beach, some of us might just want to hang out by the beach and relax. Tara Reid, one of the actors in SyFy’s “Sharknado” series, created a perfume to go with the show. Maybe the smell will turn you on as it is inspired not by blood, but instead some tantalizing ingredients. For $24.95, you get Shark by Tara:

Of course you gotta give it up to Tara Reid: she knows how to make it big wherever she goes. With the splash this unique fragrance is going to be making because of how popular the Sharknado movie is, you can bet that Tara didn’t always think it would be this sweet. Tara plays character April Wexler in the campy classic about a crazy flurry of weatcher that leaves New Yorkers scrambling to escape- of all things- sharks! AHH!

‘When I first did it, it was called Dark Skies, so I thought, ‘Okay, it’s not gonna sound so bad on my resume… it’ll be fine’. ‘And then, all of a sudden, they’re like, “We’re changing the name to Sharknado”. I said, “Oh my God, this is it! My career is over”.’ Going so far as to refuse to be involved in any promotion for the movie, the blonde says she ‘begged’ filmmakers to change the name: ‘It was horrible. They said, “Trust us, it’ll work”.’

There’s a whole side of me that no one gets,’ she said. ‘No one knows that side about me, but nobody wants to know that side of me. Even if they do know about it, no one wants to write about it.

‘So I’m lucky that I’m doing Sharknado right now. Do I know I have the capacity of doing more? Of course.

‘But will I get the chance? It’s not up to me. It’s someone that’s gonna believe in me and say yes.’
