Whether you’re a fan of the personalized trend or not, customization has become all the rage in fashion. From monogrammed Louis Vuitton handbags to Burberry’s very own Scarf Bar launch (and who can forget about Prada’s DIY shoes?), the art of custom-made accessories is a significantly lucrative business. So it was only a matter of time before everyone’s favorite luxury brand, Gucci, decided to join in on the action.

Grabbing the attention of every style influencer there is, the Italian fashion house recently announced its very own personalization service for select items – starting with the Dionysus bag. That’s right: along with flaunting that chic, boxy silhouette paired with the brand’s classic monogrammed initials, you’ll now be able to add your own personal touch thanks to a slew of embroidery options – and let’s just say, the process of elimination is a tough one!

Customers will be able to choose from an array of Gucci-approved elements (think butterflies, lizards, lips, snakes, floral and more), trim variations and even monogrammed letters embellished with Swarovski crystals (insert holy hands emoji here!).

Though the new initiative is only available at the Gucci flagship store in Milan, the brand has assured that the customized service will roll out globally in major fashion markets soon – eventually allowing you to customize the brand’s Ace sneakers, loafer slippers and ready-to-wear pieces. And since exact pricing hasn’t been revealed just yet, that should give us enough time to start saving, like NOW.
