By now we’re sure you’ve seen, or are seeing, last night’s…interesting turn out of red carpet fashion from the 2014 Met Gala. To put it simply, it’s not quite what we expected. There was a lot of buzz between us here in the office over who would be wearing what, especially considering last year’s fumbles and this year’s white tie dress code. Would Beyoncé redeem herself from that 2013 Givenchy dress that made her look like Charlie Bucket’s golden ticket wrapped chocolate bar from the Chocolate Factory? Would Kim Kardashian find an even more floral-tastic couch cover to out-meme Mimi’s shower rod? Would Gwyneth Paltrow show up just to complain?! We had a lot of burning questions! And now, after seeing the celebrity guests, we have even more, like where a few of them got the inspiration for their god awful gowns. None in question were available to comment, but we’ve been sleuthing and this is what we found.
