Cannes 2015: Karlie Kloss Channels Jennifer Lopez in a One-Legged Jumpsuit

One of the things on our Cannes style checklist? A fashion faceoff. And thanks to Karlie Kloss, we can cross that off. Well, sort of.

Kloss stunned in a high-fashion Atelier Versace jumpsuit-slash-dress (yes, it’s a thing) — a polarizing look that had editors in a heated Obsessed or Hot Mess debate when Jennifer Lopez wore a similar design by the label last summer.

“I am incredibly proud to walk this legendary #cannesfilmfestival red carpet for the first time as an official @lorealparisofficial spokeswoman,” Kloss shared on Instagram, along with a photo of her bold outfit that featured an exposed bandeau and one glittering pant leg. That pant leg caught our attention because it’s nearly identical to the one on Lopez’s jumpsuit, which the star wore to the fashion house’s show last July. But hers was strapless and a little more covered up (at least for J.Lo). They both paired the look with coordinating silver shoes — classic metallic pumps on Kloss and platform sandals on Lopez.
