Did Kate Moss Really Blacklist Cara Delevingne?

Celebrated supermodel Kate Moss is reportedly upset with upstart Cara Delevingne and has ‘blacklisted’ the 22-year-old from her A-list group of supermodel friends.

A report from an anonymous source talking to the UK’s Mirror says that one of the world’s most iconic supermodels has burned a bridge with Cara. “It’s very unfortunate and hopefully might be a temporary thing, but they’re definitely not friends at the moment.” According to the piece, the alleged feud began because of the rising performer’s decision to leave Storm Model Management.

Add to the mix Cara’s fight with Naomi Campbell in March, and those two instances have the making of a kerfuffle of immense proportions. “Kate wasn’t happy with Cara’s clash with Naomi and felt she should have treated her with more respect,” the paper claims. “Kate is also unhappy with Cara about ditching Storm. Kate has remained loyal to Storm throughout her career and thought Cara should, too.”

For those unfamiliar with the former situation, Naomi and Cara were at a Paris Fashion Week after party when Naomi allegedly accused Cara of dissing Rihanna. Albeit, Naomi denied the rumor, tweeting, “Don’t know where this story has come from about @CaraDelevingne and I fighting! It is completely untrue, ignore the rumors.”

Yet, the Mirror believes that something went down. If it is true that Kate and Cara are beefing, it would mark a change from the love-fest these two had back in May. “This is my first time I have worked with Mango and having Kate as my partner in crime is ideal,” Cara said back when the two appeared at Burberry’s fragrance campaign. “We are a lethal combination. I admire her personally and professionally. She represents a true fashion icon. It is a privilege to learn and share this experience with her,” she said. Kate responded in kind fashion as well, saying, “Cara and I always have fun together and you can really see that in this campaign.”

Aww, the good times.

While it seems Moss is “annoyed with some of Cara’s behavior,” they’re lives both erring mirror one another. Back in 2014, “Cocaine Kate” poked fun at Cara by dressing up as her for a Halloween party. Rocking a loose t-shirt, unzipped sweatshirt, skinny jeans, and wedge sneakers and a conspicuous smudge of white powder on her nose. The get up was clearly an allusion to Delevingne’s own cocaine controversy, as was Moss’s tactic of “pretending to fall over” for the cameras in reference to Cara’s hard-partying reputation.
