Jenner Fashion Update: Kylie Spends Thousands on New Shoes, Kris Wears a Camo Track Suit (?) in Public

You might have whipped out a new sundress or your favorite pair of denim cutoffs this weekend, but the Jenners are totally season pushers. The stars stepped out in some bold fall-friendly looks, and it’s time to talk about them.

Kylie didn’t let the sunny 80° weather stop her from wearing a suede crop top and coordinating high-waisted suede trousers (both Tamara Mellon) for a trip out with her sister, Kendall Jenner. Kendall wore an equally non-summer look including a long-sleeve sweater-like crop top and silk flare pants (see their twinning photo below). And despite all that fabric, neither star broke a sweat.
Kylie continued to share her weekend wardrobe on Instagram, including a unique pair of jorts (jean shorts, for the uninitiated) and a photo of her controversial cornrows (the blue didn’t last long).
The 17-year-old star also gave fans a glimpse inside her shoe closet, aka, every girl’s fashion fantasy. She pointed out her new purchases (six pairs of shoes, tallying in at over $5,000 — we did the math) — and that’s not just counting the luxe styles from Christian Louboutin, Gianvito Rossi and Balenciaga that were sitting pretty in the background of the photo.
As for momager Kris Jenner, she’s been stepping out in some very un-Kris looks. The 51-year-old star was snapped at LAX Saturday in a multi-color camo track suit, coordinating camo scarf and a pair of what look to be hiking shoes/sneakers, plus, a mini red top-handle bag. We’d imagine the ensemble was very comfortable to fly in, but it’s rare to see her hit the airport in flats.

When she touched down in London, Kris’s next outfit was even more puzzling (yes, more puzzling than a multi-color camo tracksuit). She paired a shiny voluminous black top with a mega collar with black skinny and patent pumps. Is she wearing a high-fashion windbreaker? Is it straight up plastic? We have so many questions.
