Adidas by Stella McCartney has a new, cool, younger sis— StellaSport. With the former celebrating its tenth anniversary later this year, McCartney has been one of the biggest champions of the sport-luxe fad and at the forefront of merging fashion with the active industry’s technology. Launching January 15, StellaSport will include apparel, accessories, and footwear with bolder color, a younger fashion look, and lower price points ranging from $20-$100. Specifics of the line feature bras and tights in Climalite fabrics, onesies, “trainkinis”, logo trucker hats, backpacks, and more.
McCartney tells WWD, ““It takes the Stella girl from the campus to the club and finds a link in sport and technology without sacrificing style. There are signature moments, like our new self-laced sneakers, that give individual personality. These pieces are designed to complement your life and be totally realistic that fashion and sport technology are here to stay as a huge part of our life and wardrobes, and this is the attitude we are shouting about.”
