Red Carpet Turned Runway! Kendall Jenner Wows at Hollywood-sized Marc Jacobs Spring 2016 Show During NYFW

While Kendall Jenner is used to attending red carpet events, her fame-filled worlds collided as she strutted her best catwalk on actual crimson carpet for the Marc Jacobs Spring 2016 show on Thursday.
Hollywood extravaganza came to the Big Apple at the high-fashion event – dubbed Marc Jacobs Premiere – held inside the historic Ziegfeld Theatre on the last day of New York Fashion WeekKendall, 19, donned a short-sleeved white gown with jeweled adornments on her blouse as her waist was cinched in with a satin red belt and patterned skirt.

Much different from her previous shows such as Diane von Furstenburg and Givenchy (just to name a few), Kendall was styled in patriotic colors including a red and blue metallic clutch.

The runway format was unlike any other Jenner has surely walked in.  Kendall and fellow star-status supermodels Bella Hadid, Irina Shayk, Emily Ratajkowski, and Adriana Lima entered onto a red carpet outside the theater, posed on a step-and-repeat for fans and photographers, then entered the Ziegfeld’s main room where guests were seated.

Aside from the top models, Hollywood was in full force as celebrities like Bette Midler, Winona Ryder, Kate Mara, Sofia Coppola and Dianna Agron sat front row.

The cinematic theme was in full effect with props of popcorn, fountain drinks and even a Playbill for every guest.

Marc’s latest collection featured Americana styles in fabrics of red, white, and blue taking forms of varsity jackets, Fourties-inspired suits and bold sequined gowns contrasted by punk style makeup and messy asymmetrical chignons.
