SB Exclusive: Personal Trainer Jeanette Jenkins Reveals Kelly Rowland Is Due This Week

Kelly Rowland has been out of the spotlight recently, and we know why!

According to Rowland’s personal trainer, Jeanette Jenkins the 33-year-old singer is due any minute.

“Well she’s expecting like this week so really can we get her there and can we get her through the hour,”  Jenkins revealed about Rowland’s due date to StyleBlazer on the red carpet for Alicia Keys’ Black Ball.

Kelly Rowland is expecting her first child, a baby boy, with husband Tim Witherspoon whom she married in Costa Rica a month before the baby announcement.

The former Destiny’s Child star shared the exciting baby news by posting a pic of baby Jordans on her Instagram page back in June. In a recent interview with Elle, Rowland also said that she has been working out through her pregnancy, including walking two miles every day. She also posed nude for the magazine, showing off her baby bump, proving that all that hard work is paying off.

“I’m excited to bring a child into the world,” Rowland said to the magazine. “Sharing that experience with my husband is probably the most beautiful part.”

So what else did Jenkins do to prepare Rowland for giving birth?

“Now it’s just a matter of giving her a little bit of an endorphin high each day,” Jenkins said. “The basic guidelines for anyone expecting is to strengthen their pelvic wall to make it easier for delivery, give them a cardio workout and practicing movements so that they are comfortable in the pregnancy. And kegels!”

Seeing as Rowland has also been posting her pregnancy workouts on Instagram, we have no doubt she will be ready when the time comes. We can’t wait until Rowland’s son is having play dates with Blue Ivy.
