BEAUTY TALK: SAM FINE RELEASES HIS FIRST MAKEUP COLLECTION FROM FASHION FAIR COSMETICS

Hey curvy girls all over the world,
I just received word that legendary makeup artist Sam Fine (he really is fine, yall!) who is known for working with the likes of Iman,  has just released his first makeup collection from Fashion Fair Cosmetics.
They’re releasing the new line as a kickoff to celebrate their 40th anniversary. I for one remember when I bought my first red lipstick at the age of 16 from Fashion Fair at a makeup counter in Macy’s. It was nice to go to a counter that actually had more than one option for me. Fashion Fair has been a barrier breaking cosmetics company when it comes to black women and the world of beauty and teaming up with Sam Fine just lets you know they’re are still doing big things and evolving their brand.

Although its been awhile since I visited a Fashion Fair counter, I am definitely intrigued by their new collaboration with Sam Fine. The new collection consists of Eight Supreme Lip Color Shades that boast a creamy smooth texture, Two Supreme Eye Color Quads in complimenting shades that go from a bold smoky eye to a sexy glam eye, and a Supreme Shine Lip non-sticky  Gloss. 

Prices range from $20 for lip glosses to $38 for the eye color quads. 

The collection was released on Jan. 15th and can be found at your local Lord & Taylor’s, Macy’s, BonTon, Belk, and Dillard’s
