“Deadlines” by indie rapper Speakea5y features a blend of intellectually brooding lyrics, futurist vocal effects, string like chords, and a tight rhythmic flow. The surreal video tells the story of a writer’s art coming to life and knocking on his front door.

Speakea5y is the indie rap alias of Miami based songwriter/producer Arsi Ahmed.
Speakea5y took the last year to focus on writing music and now has an E.P., a handful of singles, and a full length album in the pipeline. “Deadlines” is his first official release.
He recently emerged from his performance hiatus to debut a new live set at the famed Miami event, “Wynwood Art Walk” where he will perform again in January. Speakea5y also headlined Art Basel’s only party for Hip Hop + R&B, BASEL HOUSE.

Coming up, Speakea5y will release “N.O.R.T.H.” which stands for No One Road To Heaven. This EP is pure dark energy. Keep an eye out for the emotionally charged joint music video for the tracks One and Two.
