My earliest memories are surrounded by music. As a toddler I recall sitting in the back of Pop Pop’s Cadillac listening to Tina Turner belt out,“What’s Love Got To Do With It”. In grammar school, I memorized every lyric and dance routine with my sisters from Janet Jackson’s Rhythm Nation album. I covered my locker walls with Immature, Ginuwine, and R. Kelly posters. I would save my allowance to buy their cd’s, as well as wear my hair and bangs like the late great singer Aaliyah (R.I.P). I remember feeling empowered by the women of the early millennium like Destiny’s Child, Jill Scott, Erykah Badu, Alicia Keys, Ashanti and so much more. I share lyrics from my heart and create memories with my art, I want to give the people life long memories to the music I create. It’s my gift to share with the world”
