Ab-Soul & Joey Bada$$ Arrested in St. Louis, Joey Laughs It Off (@abdashsoul @joeyBADASS_)

Ab-Soul and Joey Bada$$ put on a show in St. Louis, Missouri last night, October 28th, as part of ‘The Smoker’s Club Tour,’ and following the show they wound up in handcuffs.  Also arrested were Kirk Knight and a fellow Pro Era affiliate, according to Complex.  The suspected reason for their arrest is marijuana-related offenses.

An Instagram video captured the arrest on camera, and it can clearly be seen that Joey Bada$$ did not take the cops or situation seriously, as he literally laughed at them while in handcuffs.  He also asked an officer, “have you figured out why we’re in these handcuffs?”

Joey’s tour DJ, Statik Selektah, later cleared up any confusion regarding what happened after they were arrested and informed the Twitter world this morning, October 29th, that they were not in jail and the show would carry on as usual tonight. Selektah chopped it up to being nothing more than standard police racism.
