Benzino Denies Bottles Being Thrown at His Bar Opening (@iambenzino)

Benzino denies that bottles were being thrown at the grand opening of “Sleazy & Zino Bistro & Bar,” co-owned by his fellow “Love & Hip Hop” co-star Stevie J. During a recent interview, Benzino said an “isolated” matter happened at the event, which he started bewteen his ex-girlfriend Karlie Redd and his fiance, Althea Hart. 

“Everything was sensationalized,” Benzino said. “There were no bottles thrown, no fists were thrown, no guns were pulled out. The reality is we are in a time when everyone wants their shine; their few minutes of fame — and I get that, but I assure you I was not involved in any fighting nor was I knocked out.”

However, Benzino did admit that Karlie and Althea threw drinks at each other, and Joseline Hernandez’s friend was injured with a gash on her forehead.
