BREAKING: Chris Brown ARRESTED In D.C. After Howard Homecoming AfterParty! [UPDATED]

Chris Brown was arrested early this morning in D.C. after a scuffle after a Howard University Homecoming afterparty.  The breaking deets inside….

Around 4:30AM this morning, singer Chris Brown was arrested for felony assault after allegedly throwing punches at a guy outside the W Hotel on 15th & K.  

Breezy was hosting a Howard University Homecoming afterparty at The Park on Fourteenth nightclub last night (pictured above on his way there).  And apparently, when he made his way to the W afterwards, drama occurred.

TMZ reports that law enforcement confirmed that Chris got into an argument with a man outside the hotel, then allegedly started punching him.

And seeing that Chris is still on probation for the Rihanna domestic violence case, this type of arrest could violate his probation and cause some serious issues.

A few hours before his arrest, Breezy was spotted inside The Park happily singing along to his and Brandy‘s song "Put It Down":

And was also spotted partying inside with his homie, newbie August Alsina:

Chris was spotted posing it up with fans (above) at his performance in Philly Friday night for Powerhouse.

UPDATE 1: TMZ claims the reason behind the fight is due to Chris punching a man in the face, and the man never threw any punches.  Reportedly, after two females walked up to Chris outside of the W Hotel to ask for a picture, two men also ran up to get in the pic.  Chris ALLEGEDLY said, "I’m not into this gay s**t, I’m into boxing," and threw a punch at one of the men.  Both Chris & his bodyguard were arrested.

ABC News reports that Chris is still currently being held.
