Busted? Girl Tweets About Being in RGIII’s Hotel Room (@RGIII)

Robert Griffin III landed himself in hot water after a girl named “Robyn Ashley” tweeted about being in the football star’s Arizona hotel room. She initially tweeted, “Currently in RG3’s hotel room,” and followed up with a photo of the Redskins quarterback that she captioned, “Proof RG3 hotel room.” 

RGIII got married last year to his college sweetheart Rebecca Liddicoat, and the two have seemed happy together since. Soon after the story broke of Griffin’s hotel guest, she stepped forward to clear the air on what really went down. 

Speaking to Terez Owen, “Robyn Ashley” said, “Just wanted to tackle this before anyone gets hurt. I was with one of RG’s ex-college teammates who came to say what’s up to him before he left the next morning. Didn’t mean to insinuate that I was “with” RG or insult his wife. I was hanging out with my good friend who is Marcus Santa Cruz’s girlfriend and they wanted to go say hi to him while he was in town. There were 5 of us total that all came and left together and we were only there for a few minutes.”
