Chief Keef Bars Family From Visiting Him in Rehab (@chiefkeef)

In his first interview since entering rehab last year, Chief Kief tells Billboard that being in treatment feels similar to prison.

“It’s like being locked up,” the 18-year-old rapper tells the mag. “And when I’m locked up, I don’t want anybody to come see me. I won’t let my family come here. I haven’t seen my 2-year-old daughter.”

Chief Keef began his rehab stint last October at the celebrity-favorite Promises center in Malibu, but quickly realized it wasn’t the right place for him.

“I had to stay with 30 motherf*ckers — and I don’t like people,” Keef tells Billboard. “I ain’t no friendly-ass ni—a. I won’t shake your hand if I don’t like you. Don’t speak to me.”

The rapper then transferred to Wavelengths, where he’s supervised 24 hours a day but can leave on approved excursions. Many of those have been to the recording studio where he’s working on his second album, “Bang 3,” due out March 3.

While Chief Keef’s February 28 court date looms heavy on his mind, the rapper is excited to get back to Chi-Town.

“I know it’s cold, but I love Chicago. I ain’t going to miss Orange County — I feel like I’m going to die in this motherf*cker.”
