Chief Keef Ordered to Pay Massive Amount in Lawsuit (@chiefkeef)
Chief Keef’s unwillingness to address a 2012 lawsuit has cost him.
The Chi-town rapper was sued by a concert promotion company called Team Major last March, which claimed Keef was a no-show at a London gig scheduled for Dec. 29th 2012.
The company claimed Keef not showing up cost them over $75,000, including his advance.
According to court documents, the 17-year-old rapper never bothered to respond to Team Major’s lawsuit. After four months of no word from Keef, a judge ruled in favor of the company, and ordered Keef to pay $230,019 for damages, loss of earnings, and reputational harm.
