College Frat Under Investigation for Email on "Luring Rapebait"

The Phi Kappa Tau fraternity at Georgia Tech is currently suspended and under investigation because of a mass email sent out from one of the frat brothers which serves as a guide to hooking up with seemingly drunk girls at college parties.  The email is signed, “in luring rapebait,” even though one line reads in all caps, “NO RAPING,” just to be safe.

The identity of the Phi Kappa Tau member responsible for the email has been kept under wraps while the investigation is ongoing, and he has been suspended from the frat due to the backlash it has brought upon their reputation.  The email in question offers up various “advice” regarding “hooking up” with drunk girls such as:

“Grab them on the hips with your 2 hands and then let them grind against your d—.  Try to twist her hips around to face you and dance front to front. FROM THERE THE OPTIONS ARE UNLIMITED!  You can make-out with her (tongue on tongue), you can stick your hand up her shirt (not right away though), you can go for a butt grab (outside or inside the skirts), or use your imagination.  If she starts putting her hair over her ear, THAT MEANS SHE WANTS A KISS.

“Send them out of your room and on their way out when you are finished. IF ANYTHING EVER FAILS, GO GET MORE ALCOHOL.  NO RAPING.”

The email is being investigated by Georgia Tech’s Office of Student Integrity, which released a statement addressing the situation.

“The Institute does not condone this type of behavior and continues to provide resources and education designed to create a supportive campus environment for all students, even those who exercise extremely poor judgment.”
