Cousin of Rapper Who Killed His Mother: "You’re Going to Hell"

Young QC, the Chicago rapper who allegedly ordered a hit on his mother appeared before a judge Monday (Jan. 13th) but tension quickly rose when his cousin stormed into the courtroom and screamed “You’re going to hell, Qaw’mane!” DNAinfo reports that Young QC did not speak at the hearing, but glanced back at the woman who screamed at him before she was removed from the room. His next court date was scheduled for Friday.

Young QC, born Qaw’mane Wilson, has been charged but not formally indicted in the murder of his mother Yolanda Holmes, a successful owner of a popular Chicago hair salon. Police say that Young QC wanted to get his hands on the more than $90,000 in her bank accounts, and to also have access to the two life insurance policies she had that he was a beneficiary of.

According to a DNAinfo report Young QC has admitted to detectives that he arranged the robbery that led to his mother’s death on Sept. 2, 2012 for “financial gain” but Eugene Spencer, the alleged hit man in this case, told detectives Young QC asked him to kill his mother, court documents allege.
