DJ Vlad Talks Mac Dre, VladTV & Moral Code With Sway (@djvlad, @realsway)

DJ Vlad sat down with Sway In The Morning for a four part interview to discuss everything from their common roots in The Bay and Vlad’s business acumen to his dominance on the web and even his history as an “okay” break dancer. Vlad also gives tips to artists on the rise on how to work the internet to their advantage, even with a saturation of heavy competition, essentially saying that consistency is the key.

He then goes on to discuss balancing his own moral code with trying to make a profit, revealing that there have been several instances where he chose to “do the right thing” as opposed to making a cheap buck. He also addresses Lord Jamar’s now infamous VladTV interview where he claimed white people are guests in the house of Hip-Hop.
