iBattle Worldwide: Daylyt vs Cityy Towers (@DAylyt2k @iBattleWW)

The unpredictable, unorthodox, yet highly skilled Daylyt faced off against Cityy Towers in this highly entertaining iBattle Worldwide battle.  Cityy Towers is one of iBattles’ top battlers, so it made for a very interesting clash when he got the chance to face off against top quality competition in Daylyt.

Both Day and Cityy brought loads of bars, and they each had very contrasting strategies.  While Cityy went for crowd-pleasing punchlines, Daylyt actually requested that the crowd remain silent and not react to his bars before he even began his first verse.  On camera, Daylyt connected with loads of puzzle-structured bars coded in complex wordplay that the live crowd initially missed.

The end of the battle nearly took a turn for the worst, reminiscent of Summer Madness 3, as Daylyt and a fellow battler in the crowd nearly came to blows.  Daylyt approached him and put his arm around him, saying, “let me talk to you.” However, the battler in question didn’t like the fact that Daylyt was touching him and tried to push his arm away. Someone then came from behind Daylyt and grabbed him, at which point Daylyt pulled the battler he initially approached downward and then grabbed his neck and choked him, and the battler retaliated by doing the same.  

For the record, Daylyt was actually about to show respect to the battler for a past situation in which he choked, he wasn’t about to tell him how “marked out” he is.
