Over the weekend, Jay Z took the tube with Chris Martin and Timbaland to the O2 Arena for his Magna Carta Holy Grail residency gig. See photos and video inside and watch Hov’s full "Made In America" documentary in case you missed it….
Though he’s worth over $400 million dollars, Jay Z showed his down-to-earth side on Saturday when he chose to ride the tube (public transportation) to the O2 arena in London where his Magna Carta Holy Grail tour played. Sometimes public transpo in London (and most major cities) is just easier. It wasn’t Jay’s first time going underground before concert as he did the same thing on his way to Barclays in Brooklyn last year before one of his shows.
This time, he wasn’t alone……
The rapper was accompanied by Coldplay’s Chris Martin–who took the stage with him that night to rock "Heart of the City"–and producer Timbaland.
