K Michelle Blames Blogs For Her Antics & Image In The Media

I obviously feel some kind of way about this K Michelle’s scene in Love & Hip Hop where she blames the blogs for her negative image in the media. Sadly I feel personally slighted considering I was one of THE first bloggers to interview her in a positive light when she was trying to break-through and get her name out in the media (you can check out the throwback K Michelle interview here).

The K Michelle I talked to over the phone was humble, down to earth, and honest to a fault, but when Love & Hip-Hop ATL came out, so did another side of K Michelle. The majority of her negativity in the media comes from K Michelle shaking tables, throwing silverware, throwing candle holders with hot wax, starting beefs, and tweeting insults to her celebrity peers.

These blogs are absolutely pathetic to me. Social media has always been a big enemy of mine, and the things that they make up, is absolutely crazy and really hurtful.

But even with all of the on screen antics, these “pathetic blogs” have been pushing her music, and promoting the mess out of her album. Not the mainstream media, which explains why K Michelle didn’t receive a GRAMMY nomination, yet received awards from BET and Soul Train. I just wish when these celebrities are attacking “blogs” on reality shows, they learn to use their adjectives and say “some” blogs, or name that particular blog (nine times out of ten it’s Media Take Out).

I also wish they would take some responsibility, especially when they’re on reality TV shows like Love & Hip-Hop, painting ALL of us in a negative light as ABW. Lastly, I wonder why they’re promoting blogs like MTO to the Vh1 audience, while claiming to hate these particular blogs so much. The sad truth is many celebrities that aren’t A-list celebrities, famous or infamous, now need these blogs in order to gain access to the mainstream media. Those that keep a friendly relationship with certain blogs get a GRAMMY nominations! Just ask Tamar Braxton. IJS!Similar Posts:
