Kendrick Lamar took to Twitter to share a video of himself battle rapping in Watts, CA at the tender age of 17. This is Kendrick before the fame and even back then its startling how good was with the words. This 10-minute ‘freestyle’ is a nice little treat for fans and anyone curious to see Kendrick’s natural talent.
“Found this. 17 yrs old. In the projects. Rappin. Pockets hurtin,” Kendrick writes on his Twitter. “Dave free & TopDawg in the cut admiring my style.”
