LAUNCH THIS: Dwyane Wade Unveils New Sock Line + Jay Z ANNOUNCES "Gold" Men’s Fragrance

Miami Heat player Dwyane Wade, known for his sometimes eyebrow raising pre-game looks–has launched his own line of gentlemen’s socks, while rapper Jay Z has created his first men’s fragrance.  Find out what both of the fellas are up to inside…

Dwyane Wade has partnered with Stance, a leader in the sock market, to launch The Wade Collection of casual and gentlemen socks. The Wade Collection features 3 different designs and styles create by Dwyane.

The 3-time NBA champ said about his new business deal,

"Style has always been a personal interest of mine, and I’m excited to be able to express some of my own influences through my collection for Stance. Socks are often overlooked in fashion, but socks have the amazing ability to transform any ensemble into a bold fashion statement that reflects your personality and mood.”

The Wade Collection is now available at select Champs stores.

In other D. Wade news, he and the Miami Heat are in NY to play the Brooklyn Nets.  While in town, he celebrated the 41st birthday of Gabrielle Union and she tweeted, "And thank you to the guy that forgets to put the cap on the toothpaste, who flushes the non-flushable baby wipes but always goes all out for my birthday."

On Black Friday (Nov. 29th), Jay Z will release his first men’s fragrance GOLD JAY Z. Gotta get in on that fragrance tip like an business mogul.

Created by JAY Z and Firmenich perfumer extraordinaire Ilias Ermenidis, GOLD JAY Z is white fougere fragrance created through a layered blend of yellow ginger, white cardamom and grapefruit with a hint of blueberry. The scent also contains a refined infusion of violet leaf, cypress, lavender and luxurious vetiver with a thread of pink pepper gives a tailored, modern signature.

Mr. Carter designed the white matte flask himself, with the GOLD JAY Z logo raised and etched in gold. Co-designer Ilias Ermenidis talked about Jay Z and the new scent saying, "He has a natural cool that people want a piece of. In developing GOLD JAY Z, I wanted to capture both the vibrant ambitious part of JAY Z’s charismatic persona and his effortless style that he naturally embodies through a fusion of notes chosen by JAY Z."

The fragrance will be available at major department stores throughout the U.S. (including Barneys).
