Morrissey Announces Debut Novel, List of the Lost

In early 2014, Morrissey announced, “I am mid-way through my novel.” Now, he’s announced that the novel, List of the Lost, will be out in late September, Stereogum points out. The book will be Moz’s first since his Autobiography in 2013. Read the full announcement from True to You below.

Morrissey’s novel

Morrissey’s first novel, List of the Lost, will be published by Penguin Books (UK) at the end of September. The book will be issued in softcover/paperback as a New Fiction title, and comes almost two years after Morrissey’s very successful Autobiography publication of October 2013.
Penguin Books will confirm an on sale date within this coming week. List of the Lost will be available in the UK, Ireland, Australia, India, New Zealand and South Africa.

This past week, Morrissey sat down for an in-depth interview on “Larry King Now”, during which he discussed his alleged sexual assault by aiport security, as well as his cancer diagnosis last year.
