HBO Screens New Film About Bessie Smith Starring Queen Latifah
HBO Films screened their new Bessie Smith biopic “Bessie” Wednesday night at the Museum of Modern Art in NY. Stars of the film Queen Latifah, Tika Sumpter and Mo’Nique were all in the building looking lovely.
Mary J. Blige was also looking beautiful at the screening. We’re gonna take an educated guess that she did a lot of the music for the movie.
Bessie’s granddaughter Beverly Ann Clarke also attended and posed for photos with Tika Sumpter.
