Rick Ross Arrested And Released After Concert In North Carolina
Rick Ross is a free man after being arrested and released on Friday.
The New York Daily News reports,
“Rapper Rick Ross has been released after his arrest following a North Carolina concert. Greensboro Police Department spokeswoman Susan Danielsen says that Ross was taken into custody Friday night after the SuperJam concert. She says a court had issued an order for his arrest because he failed to appear in court on a previous misdemeanor marijuana charge.”
Ross was released on $1,000 bail, and has yet to comment on the incident.
The ‘Nobody’ rapper has been working hard on advancing his career while helping newcomers make a name for themselves in the industry. Meek Mill is one new rapper to benefit from Rick as mentor. The young star had the pleasure of featuring the veteran on his music video for ‘Ima Boss’ three years ago.
Rick Ross is scheduled to be live in concert in California, New York, and Florida in coming weeks.
