Rihanna’s $12M Mansion Target of Burglary Attempt (@rihanna)

According to reports from TMZ, Rihanna’s $12 million Pacific Palisades mansion was the target of a burglary attempt over the weekend.  She is currently out in Australia, so she was not home when the criminals attempted to burglarize her home.  Police reported to TMZ that an unidentified individual drove up to her home on her private road and walked through the backyard before throwing a chair through a sliding glass door.  The broken glass set off a load alarm, which must’ve scared the would-be burglars off because they fled without entering her home.  

While police are still searching for those responsible, they do have the help of security camera footage, as Rihanna’s home is surrounded by cameras.  Even when making the turn onto her private road leading to her home there is a sign that reads, “Smile, You’re on camera.”

More news will surely come about if these buglars are caught.
