Say What?: Woman Plans On Handing Out ‘Fat Shaming’ Letters To Obese Trick-Or-Treaters
Halloween is right around the corner and children (and a few adults) everywhere are ready to participate in some Trick-Or-Treating and indulge in some yummy, free candy. Well, if you live in the city of Fargo, North Dakota, your kid might come home with a letter and probably a face full of tears. According to Fox 6 News, a woman only known as Cheryl is planning on handing out letters to children that she considers ‘moderately obese’ as opposed to candy.
“I just want to send a message to the parents of kids that are really overweight,” a woman only known as Cheryl said Tuesday. “I think it’s just really irresponsible of parents to send them out looking for free candy just because all the other kids are doing it.”
Ma’am, can I suggest that you prepare to get a round of foot sweeps? Because I don’t see this going over very well, at all. You might want these kid’s parents to do better for their kids, but giving them a letter and calling them fat to their face is no way to do it. I think she’s gonna get a beat down. What say you?
