The 2014 NBA Slam Dunk Contest sucked ??? See What Fans Say

The NBA was hoping to bring some excitement to the Slam Dunk Competition with a new format that put the East against the West and added a freestyle portion to the event, but their plan was not executed well and it turned in to a disaster.

Unlike the NFL’s Pro Bowl which benefited from the change, the dunk contest left people wondering what the hell was going on and no one was sure whether or not it was actually over.

When it was all said and done, the dunk contest was about ten minutes of chaos and mediocre dunks.

If it wasn’t for John Wall, the contest would have been a glorified high school talent show, but even his dunk wasn’t enough to entertain the fans enough to keep them from going to social media to voice their displeasure with the event.
