The district attorney plays Wyatt’s taped confession for the Cryers and the Harringtons, and both families try to convince the DA that the confession is a misunderstanding.

Meanwhile, Candace goes to the hospital to see Quincy Jr. and discovers that Hanna is seeking custody. Elsewhere, Celine is anxious to be rehired by Jim despite her son’s protestations that Jim doesn’t care about them.

In prison, Wyatt is in shock after being sexually assaulted. David, having learned that Veronica knows about Wyatt’s stint behind bars, urges Jim to spring his son from jail immediately.

And later, Maggie takes David to Benny’s tow yard, where he catches his wife exiting Benny’s office.
