Waxahatchee Cancels Tour Due to Health Issues

Waxahatchee is currently on tour supporting this year’s Ivy Tripp. Katie Crutchfield previously announced a slew of European tour dates (many with Kurt Vile), to be followed by a Midwestern tour with Sleater-Kinney. Today, she’s announced the cancellation of the European leg due to health issues.
“I’m very disappointed to announce that I will be unable to perform at the shows I have scheduled in Europe coming up,” Crutchfield wrote on Facebook. “I’ve been having some health issues that are affecting my voice and have been put on strict and immediate vocal rest. I hate canceling shows and I’m hoping to make it up to everyone soon.”
