Sunscreen is important all year. But this time of the year, when we’re exposed to direct sun for a longer period of time, it’s vital.
For some of you, there are go-to brands for the best coverage based on your lifestyle and preferences. For others, there are so many options on drugstore shelves, that you have no idea where to begin.
Here are a couple things to consider: Body versus facial sunscreen; these lotions will differ in sensitivity and oil content. Activities; some sunscreens go on more dry and cause a white cast— they tend to be outfitted for outdoor water activities. SPF levels; you want at least SPF 30 when buying any lotion, otherwise the coverage is pointless.
