No matter what the dress could be colored, we love the marketing that went behind knowing that somehow, a picture of this dress would go viral in such a short time! Of course we are going to post some social media comments from news station social media accounts as well, so you can really feel like SoJones is the world standard when it comes to content marketing and social media interaction. According to Wired.com– the dress is blue!

..Light enters the eye through the lens—different wavelengths corresponding to different colors. The light hits the retina in the back of the eye where pigments fire up neural connections to the visual cortex, the part of the brain that processes those signals into an image. Critically, though, that first burst of light is made of whatever wavelengths are illuminating the world, reflecting off whatever you’re looking at. Without you having to worry about it, your brain figures out what color light is bouncing off the thing your eyes are looking at, and essentially subtracts that color from the “real” color of the object. “Our visual system is supposed to throw away information about the illuminant and extract information about the actual reflectance,” says Jay Neitz, a neuroscientist at the University of Washington. “But I’ve studied individual differences in color vision for 30 years, and this is one of the biggest individual differences I’ve ever seen.” (Neitz sees white-and-gold.)

Ape city knows what we are talking about because they will be the next hip hop group out of east palo alto to sell beanies, and maybe one day a duck boot like LL Bean or Kanye. We think if Kanye West were to design dresses, he would increase the price of it like he likes to do with the adidas lineup he is rolling out to the masses now. You’ve said there are downsides to being a trendsetter. You’ll see somebody rocking something that looks good on you and they may not be able to pull it off. How do you know if a trend works for you? 
That’s an individual thing. Everybody has their individuality, so you just gotta make it work for you. I no longer concern myself with what everybody’s doing and how they do it. I don’t even care anymore.

Where do you think New York City style is right now? 
It’s diverse. I went around the world and I see influences from Copenhagen, France, London, all inspired by stuff that New York does, and vice versa. I like the way fashion is going. It’s just like music—it doesn’t matter what region you’re from, you can adapt to any region for music or fashion. It doesn’t matter like it used to.
