Woman Reports School Shooting as April Fool’s Day Prank

Not all April Fool’s pranks were funny.
A Virginia woman was arrested after falsely reporting a school shooting as an April Fool’s Day prank.
According to Gawker, Angela Timmons an employee at Virginia College texted her daughter with a message about someone shooting at the college. When her daughter didn’t hear back from her mother, she called 911.
Police arrived at the school and found no evidence of a shooting. Simmons was taken into custody by police and was charged for disturbing a school.
