Zappos CEO Trolls Kanye Hard After Rapper Disses Him (@kanyewest)

Kanye West was recently chatting with Bret Easton Ellis as part of the “American Psycho” author’s podcast series, and while on the topic of fashion ‘Ye made an abrupt aside:

“I got into this giant argument with the head of Zappos,” West told Ellis, referring to Zappos.com CEO Tony Hsieh. “[H]e’s trying to tell me what I need to focus on. Meanwhile, he sells all this sh*t product to everybody, his whole thing is based off of selling sh*t product.”

Why the Zappos CEO came up in the conversation is a mystery, but it could be that he once tried to give advice to Kanye.

Hsieh was silent about the diss until late Wednesday, when he decided to fire back on Twitter.

“Kanye West says Zappos sells sh*t product,” he tweeted. “It’s true.” Hsieh followed the tweet by a link to The Zappos.com Sh*t Product.

The product comes in just one size – Sh*t – and sells for $100,000

“Interested in buying sh-t product?” reads the description. “You’ve come to the right place! Here at Zappos.com, we happily sell sh-t products to everybody!
