13 Instagram Accounts to Help Make the End of Summer Less Devastating

Labor Day weekend is one of deeply mixed emotions. On one hand, we get an extra day off from work, so we’re happy! On the other, it’s the last weekend of sunshine, sand and sandals, so we’re sad (insert single tear emoji face). To help ease your (end of) summertime sadness, we’ve come up with a list of the best Instagrams to dig into while you’re soaking up the last precious moments of the season (and what’s better to look at while you’re on the beach than pictures of other people on the beach?). From glamorous stars at the Venice Film Festival to incredible vacation spots, you’ll feel more inspired than ever when you wake up on Tuesday morning.

@dianekrugerperso: The actress is currently sitting on the judges’ panel at the Venice Film Festival, which means she’ll be stepping out in some killer designer looks and posting photos like the one here (have you ever seen so much Chanel anything in your whole life?). She’s also known to share the kind of images us regular people love to see most when stalking a celeb’s page (what they’re having for breakfast, natch).

@themermaidfiles: Fun fact: Model Candice Swanepoel has a second Instagram account filled with pictures of her travels to exotic destinations (most recently Bali), which means this account kills two birds with one stone; you can get your wanderlust and bikini bod fix at the same time. Another bonus? She’s an established Burner (Burning Man-goer, that is), so hopefully we’ll get some insider looks at the epic outfits she’s been known to sport in Black Rock City.

@wildfoxcouture: While the LA-based clothing line loves to share snaps of their adorable designs, the account is more like a mood board for all things girlie and pretty. Whether you’re the type who fancies unicorns, glitter and rainbows, this page has it all. In case you need more convincing, the brand often posts images of photo-shoots with their seemingly endless supply of gorgeous fresh-faced models, which is perfect for some weekend hair and makeup inspiration.

@josephineskriver: VS Pink model Josephine Skriver is obviously gorgeous to look at–but so is her Instagram. The Danish stunner isn’t shy when it comes to sexy selfies, but she currently happens to be on holiday in Italy–meaning her page is flooded with beautiful snapshots from Rome, Tuscany, Positano and more.

@minnieandemma: Stationery designer Meredith Levy’s Instagram is one of the most fun we’ve stumbled upon in a while. Perfect at capturing the simplest of life’s moments, Meredith is a fan of lattes, baked goods and the Sunday paper –all of the things Instagrammers loves to heart. Oh, and she happens to design the most adorable customized iPhone cases (Reese Witherspoon is a big fan), so don’t be surprised if you end up buying one (or two!) by the end of the weekend.

@lepostcard: Le Postcard is just that–a virtual postcard of beautiful destinations all around the world, often interspersed with colorful shots of gelato, cocktails and beauty products. Recently they’ve been going hard with shots of turquoise waters, taken everywhere from Spain to Italy to Greece. It’s the perfect account for those who aren’t quite yet ready to accept that beach season is coming to an end.

@oliveandjune: In case you don’t already know, Olive and June is a celeb-loved nail salon, with two locations in California (they just did Cara Delevingne’s mani for the VMAs.) Their Instagram is full of nail inspiration, obviously, but they know how to dish out some pretty dreamy lifestyle shots, too.

@the_vista: This one is for all the free spirits out there. The Vista is a compilation of travel, nature, and design shots, plus the occasional breakfast pic (come on, we all love those). It features both original shots and those shared by fans of the page, so get ready to #followthevista.

@solidandstriped: Not only was Solid & Striped the swimwear brand of summer (everyone from Selena Gomez to Alessandra Ambrosio wore one of their designs), but their Instagram is full-on dream for those looking to indulge in a beach vacation from their bedroom. And if you’re just finding out about this amazing brand now, don’t be sad. They make a ton of long-sleeve knits to transition into fall.

@vibes: Whether you’re into awesome architecture, beautiful backyards, or models in their underwear, this page has it all. The best part about it is that no matter what time of day it is, their latest image somehow seems to fit the exact vibe you’re feeling. Maybe they’re psychic or maybe they just have excellent taste.

@juleytl: This New Orleans-based blogger will have you addicted to her Southern charm thanks to her eye for simple but ethereal snapshots. Do you ever wish that you could snap a pic of a window and make it look somehow totally magical? Juley Le is capable of just that. Dig into her Instagram to get a look into her life full of beaches, hotels and a lot of perfectly crumpled white sheets.

@margoandme: If you like fashion, flowers and French bulldogs, this page is for you. Margo and Me, curated by style blogger Jenny Bernheim, is, as she puts it, “uber feminine and delightfully chic.” Her page is full of some pretty amazing style and travel inspo and if you want some serious wedding envy, just scroll back a few weeks ago for a glimpse into her chic Parisian ceremony.

@theminimaleanimale: The Minimale Animale is quite possibly the sexiest swimwear line out there right now, and their Instagram is no exception. Think teeny-tiny bikinis, dewy beach bodies and barely-clothed babes on bikes. If this sounds a little to hot to handle, don’t fret; Minimale Animale also has a penchant for travel, food and animal photos as well.
