That’s what we thought.
Debunking all ageist theories about when women physically stop being fly is supermodel Twiggy, who just landed a huge contract with L’Oreal making her the brand’s newest ambassador. If its been awhile since you’ve seen Twiggy, she’s been keeping busy designing for English brand Marks & Spencer, as well as modelling. For L’Oreal, she’ll be posing for the brand’s Professionnel line of hair products.
Before Twiggy, Jane Fonda was the brand’s ambassador at the age of 77. Other notable and mature L’Oreal ambassadors include Jennifer Lopez, 45, and Andie MacDowell, 56.
“I am absolutely delighted,” Twiggy said in a statement to The Daily Mail, “I truly believe in the skill of the professional hairdresser and am so proud to represent the brand. I hope to inspire women to be confident in their personal style and never to be afraid of trying something new.”
