A$AP Rocky’s New Video Predicts Longevity In Fashion

A 26-year-old Rakim Mayers, better known around the world as A$AP Rocky, has risen streetwear to another level with his unmitigated swagger.

Rocking Hood By Air to Rick Owens, this Harlem representative is one of these most stylish new jacks in Hip-Hop. Bypassing the trappings of tabloids after his relationships with Iggy Azalea and model Chanel Iman generated paparazzi interest, A$AP Rocky has quickly become immersed in high-end fashion circles and been acclaimed as a polarizing icon.

His latest project, At Long Last A$AP, is finally reaching the world. Coming on the heels of the tragic passing of his Svengali and best friend, A$AP Yams (real name Steven Rodriguez), the album is a psychedelic trip through the life of A$AP Worldwide’s frontman. In addition to the music, movie fans can get a taste of the young star’s acting chops in the Sundance hit Dope, which is slated to arrive in theaters June 19.

As he continues to showcase his skills, Rocky even manages to make brands that average, everyday people like us can afford without using a tax refund.

As Rocky continues to rise into prominence, he claims the title of New York’s best-dressed emcee with aspirations of taking the title for all of Hip-Hop.
