Adidas Is Slowly Climbing Up The Athleisure Ladder

It looks like Adidas is making the right strides when it comes to climbing the athleisure ladder – thanks to its more fashionable brands like adidas Orginials and Neos, that is. The German manufacturer announced that it’s continuing to see double-digit growth this year, according to Fashionista.

After having a strong year in 2014, the company’s sales were up eight percent for its second quarter on a currency-neutral basis, and up six percent at its sister company, Reebok. But while the label’s more stylish counterparts are doing well, one area that isn’t booming is Adidas’s golf business – which was said to have declined 26 percent in the second quarter.

The German sportswear manufacturer told the publication that it’s “initiated a major turnaround plan” and has engaged in investment options for its golf brands. Adidas also expects its sales to continue to increase at a mid-single-digit rate for the remainder of the year. And we’re thinking that can definitely be achieved – that is, if they keep pushing out those stylish kicks.
