Adrian Grenier Swipes Pieces from Vince’s Closet (and More Style Insight from the Entourage Star)

Adrian Grenier reached Hollywood heartthrob status years ago, but surprisingly he just landed his first fashion campaign. We caught up with the actor and new face of Buffalo David Bitton at the denim brand’s spring collection launch to talk all about his latest gig — and the new Entourage movie, of course!

Admitting that he has “quite a number” of jeans, Grenier reveals he really only wears about three or four. “I usually just slip on what’s in front of me,” he says. “I’m into black these days.” So why is Buffalo his go-to denim brand? “They just fit really well.”

While Grenier wasn’t involved in the design process (“I’m glad I wasn’t. I’ll leave that to the professionals.”), he did collaborate with the label’s “Blank Check Series” (which gives visionaries and artists funding to create engaging work) for his documentary 52: The Search for the Loneliest Whale.

“I wanted to make sure that I was working with a brand that respected and appreciated what was important to me,” he shares. “Buffalo came in to support my environmental projects, and I respect that.”

“I always encourage people and businesses to act in good conscious,” he adds. “Recognize that they play an important role in supporting the environment. Without people there’s no business. Nobody’s buying jeans if the environment isn’t healthy; if people aren’t thriving. And if we don’t start to really fix some of the issues that are plaguing the oceans and the earth, we’re going to see a hard time.”

As for the highly-anticipated Entourage film (here’s the trailer) hitting theaters June 3, he says, “It’s bigger, more exciting. Fans are definitely going to be shocked some of the things Johnny Drama does, but they’re gonna have a lot of fun. I think it’s also an endearing film. You really get to see the guys at their most romantic.”

And in case you were wondering, a few pieces of his Entourage character Vincent Chase’s clothes have made it into his own closet. “Over the years I’ve been lucky enough to sneak some pieces of Vince’s wardrobe to fit into my own. If the shoe fits right?”
