If there’s one thing that’s evident throughout the world of design, it’s the fact that Karl Lagerfeld is probably one of fashion’s busiest men. As if managing two ready-to-wear labels aside from his own isn’t enough for one’s plate, the designer is now taking a leap into activewear – and no, we’re not kidding.
Berlin-based online retail giant, Zalando, tapped the creative director to create a sports-inspired collection called Karl Lagerfeld Sport City, WWD reported. The range includes separates like sweatpants, dresses, joggers, shirts and more, created from neoprene, perforated leather and crepe fabrics. Additional details include Lagerfeld’s infamous cat, Choupette, as a print, and of course, a couture touch that takes you to the gym and beyond.
The 18-piece line hits in at price points ranging from $45 to $440 – which if you ask us, is pretty affordable coming from the man behind Chanel and Fendi.
