Caitlyn Jenner Paints Her Nails in New Video: ‘Still Getting the Hang of This’

In her emotional interview with Diane Sawyer, Caitlyn Jenner said she was looking forward to wearing nail polish “long enough for it to chip off.” Now, the 65-year-old Olympian is showing off her manicure skills in a new clip as part of her WhoSay.com blog series.

Jenner shared a WhoSay video of herself “fixing” a chipped nail with a very pretty pastel blue polish, which we think is Deborah Lippmann’s “Blue Orchid” shade (the bottle shape is identical!). She captioned the clip, “Still getting the hang of this. What do you think of the color?”

Lippmann was the “first professional manicurist” to do Jenner’s nails on set of the her Vanity Fair cover shoot. They picked out the bright red shade “Lady Is a Tramp” for the iconic photos.

“She was so happy to be a girl, and she was so at ease,” Lippmann said. “Her attitude was very much, ‘Let’s do it!’”

Jenner has also revealed that she’s “actually very good in the makeup department,” telling her step-daughter Kim Kardashian West that she could even do her makeup during an E! special. She also shared that she’d been doing her own pedicures at home for a while.

As for her style, Jenner loves the wrap dress silhouette and has been wearing classic black slingbacks with most of her outfits. She’s also been experimenting with fun prints (leopard!) and isn’t afraid to rock a sequin micro-mini skirt.
